I was really excited to go to this cathedral because it’s one that I have known about since age 5 from the movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It is much better in real life compared to the cartoon Disney movie. There was a morning mass service going on while we were sauntering through the cathedral. One of the girls and I decided to attend the service just out of curiosity. The entire mass service was in French and after we learned that normally they only let locals come in and attend the service. We must have looked the part! It’s pretty cool to think that I attended mass in the infamous Notre Dame Cathedral.
